For the first time, they started talking about the new Volkswagen Tharu 2019-2020 crossover back in 2017, when the German manufacturer first registered a name for the new global crossover. According to preliminary data, the novelty should take place between the Tiguan and the T-Cross. The first production of the new Volkswagen Tharu 2019-2020 crossover will begin in August at a Chinese plant, jointly with SAIC-Volkswagen.

It is from China that the new Volkswagen Tharu 2019-2020 crossover plans to launch its reputation. In the future, the production of the new Tharu 2019 is planned to start in Argentina, Mexico and other factories of the manufacturer. As it became known, Russia will not be an exception and already in 2020 they plan to start production of Volkswagen Tharu 2019-2020. The basis of the new Volkswagen Tharu 2019 is the MQB platform, in other words it is a redesigned crossover Skoda Karoq. From the side, it is quite reminiscent of a Czech crossover, the same wheel arches, door shape and side lines. Only the front part of the new Volkswagen Tharu 2019-2020 was affected by the changes. Small details touched the rear stops, now they are fully LED, the mirrors were transferred from the corner part of the glasses to the legs and to the door part, and the rear blank glass also decreased in size.
