Statistics for September 6, 2018: 40 people died on the roads of the Russian Federation, two of whom were children, 449 people were injured, 53 children, 383 road accidents. Nowhere is it said how many drivers were brought to justice and how many fines were issued per day. There is no information yet about the percentage of the drivers' fault in all these offenses.

We will find out this information in a month, in the official report of the traffic police. And, paradoxically, it will be said that in half of the accidents, pedestrians are to blame, but the fines were still issued to the drivers. What violations of the rules of the road can undermine the budget for a while, even if they did not cause an accident or harm the surrounding landscape?

  • High-speed excess - from 500-5000 rubles.
  • Driving a car after a feast - from 30,000-300,000 rubles.
  • Allowed a drunk friend to ride - 30,000 rubles.
  • Refusal to undergo a medical examination - up to 30,000 rubles.
  • If you drank after a car accident - 30,000 rubles.
  • Driving a car without license plates - 5,000 rubles.
  • Trucking without a license - up to 4,000 rubles.

Over speed

Any fine that the inspector writes out is unpleasant for the driver, even if the violation took place. Fines for speeding are especially unpleasant when it is early morning, there are very few cars, the road is clear. But a well-known speed limit sign is installed on it and intuition suggests that there is an inspector on a seemingly deserted road, and he will definitely appear like a genie from a bottle (or a devil from a snuffbox), if you just turn on the gas a little.

Fines for speeding are regulated by article 12.9. It is divided into five parts:

  • 12.9 h. 2 Acceleration by more than 20 km. per hour, but less than 40 km - 500 rubles.
  • 12.9 h. 3 We have dispersed more than 40 km. per hour, but less than 60 - the wallet will become lighter by 1,500 rubles. The second time in a month we decided to feel like a racer - give 2500 rubles.
  • 12.9 h 4 Increased speed by 60 km. hour - a fine of up to 2500 rubles. with the possibility of losing your license for six months. A repeated violation with fixation will result in a loss of 5,000 rubles. and their rights for 1 year.
  • 12.9 h.5 If the reckless driver exceeds the established threshold by more than 80 km per hour, he will pay 5000 rubles. and lose your rights for 1 year.

But what if the driver exceeded the speed limit by 8 or 16 km. in hour. According to the rules, this is a permissible limit, a range of speed, where the driver, if he should stop, is only for warning.

But in practice, things are different. The inspector can consider your rights for so long that you will pay him 500 rubles just to leave as soon as possible. At the same time, the fine for speeding is far ahead of all others - this is the most popular type of stop for inspectors of the Russian Federation on any road and in any region.

Alcohol fines

This category of violations in the official table of fines is called "Penalties for alcohol while driving." This includes both driving a drunk driver and handing over your car to a drunk driver. You will be sanctioned even if, after an accident, in order to relieve stress, you drink 50 grams of cognac or if you refuse to take the alcohol test, being an active adherent of a healthy lifestyle.

Driving a car "under the driver" at the first stop is subject to a fine of 30,000 rubles, in accordance with Article 12.8.1, and deprivation of rights for a period of one to two years. Both drivers and experts believe that the requirement is absolutely fair, especially since there are permissible norms for alcohol consumption.

A repeated violation will already be considered on the basis of Article 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, and here there are other sanctions - a fine of up to 300,000 rubles. or prison for up to 2 years. It should be borne in mind that the drunk driver was simply stopped by the traffic police inspector and did not participate in any accidents, did not violate the rules, did not exceed the speed.

Such a life situation is possible. If the owner of the car is very drunk, and you decide to help a friend and take him home in his car, while you have a license, then even if the inspector stops you, the sanctions do not apply to you or your friend who has gone on a spree. Only one thing is important - that the friend was able to confirm that he voluntarily gave you his car.

But if the situation repeats itself the other way around, and you transferred control of your car to a drunk friend, then, according to Art. 12.8.2 get ready to pay a fine of 30,000 rubles. A drunken comrade will say goodbye to rights for a period of one to two years. In rare cases, a sober car owner may also lose his rights.

Regardless of the reasons for which you do not want to be tested for alcohol use, this is a direct violation of Art. 12.26.1, according to which you will be fined 30 thousand and your rights will be taken away for several years.

Drivers should remember that the inspector can only send the driver for a survey by issuing an appropriate protocol. Medical examination is carried out either in mobile laboratories (called by the inspector), or at a stationary point.

Refusal to undergo the procedure is entered by the doctor in the registration log and in the examination protocol. The protocol is drawn up in triplicate according to the rules and is considered valid for 2 years.

Interesting is the rule of Article 12.27.7, which provides for a fine of 30,000 rubles. and deprivation of a driver's license for up to 2 years if the driver drank after an accident or after being stopped by a traffic police inspector. In this case, the first duty of the inspector is to warn the driver that it is not worth using the old-fashioned method to relieve stress. But in practice this does not happen.

Registration violations

In the midst of the dashing 90s, did petty car thieves have a very profitable occupation? remove numbers from cars. For how much and to whom they sold them, history is silent, but in 1996, almost 30% of statements from injured drivers began with the words: "I went out in the morning to start the car, and the license plate was removed from it ...". Today, no one takes off such numbers anymore, but all the same. Driving a car without a license plate entails a fine of 5,000 rubles.

The same fine and deprivation of the right to drive a vehicle for up to 3 months can be obtained if you try to change the number. Moreover, under the action of Art. 12.2, part 2, those drivers who wish to tune the license plate, highlighting the numbers with colored luminescent tape or paint, also get there. Objections that in the dark the number will be better seen by the inspector, the traffic police officer will not take into account.

But the installation of inappropriate numbers (perhaps even removed from someone else's car) is punishable by a fine of 2500 rubles, but driving such a car can deprive the driver of his license for up to 1 year and make him a participant in another case - a criminal one.

Violation of the rules of international carriage

Large companies engaged in international road transport and having more than one hundred trucks in their fleet never commit such minor violations as not issuing certificates, permits, licenses for both cargo and their drivers. But small firms just starting their way in big business can try and save money.

In any case, fines for international road transportation without permission, according to Article 11.29, Part 1, will amount to: for a driver - from 3,000 to 4,000 rubles, for a company - up to 400,000 rubles. And it is not a fact that the company will pay the driver's fine. The protocol will be drawn up in the name of the person who was driving.

These are the largest fines that are in effect in the Russian Federation as of September 2018. Also interesting are the prohibitions that novice drivers are subjected to - a separate table of fines has been invented for them, the minimum of which will be 1000 rubles.

Just remember that for the first two years of driving, you cannot:

  • take a broken neighbor's car in tow;
  • to carry the mother-in-law a large refrigerator;
  • transport her a small refrigerator if it weighs more than 300 kg;
  • and without the sign "Newbie" on the windshield and rear window, it is generally prohibited to drive.

Interesting fact: if you operate a car with a loose braking system, the fine will be only 500 rubles, and if you transport the cargo on a modern MAN in compliance with European standards for atmospheric emissions, but without permission, then get ready to pay eight times more. And if you have an accident, where you and your car are the only victim and drank, then that's it, the budget is undermined for a month.
