On the eve of the auto show, you can often see the cars that will be presented at the exhibition without camouflage. So it happened with the 2017 Ford Fusion, which will be presented at the Detroit auto show the other day.

Auto Show 2016 in Detroit is expected from day to day, so photographers in pursuit of a car in camouflage. So the 2017 Ford Fusion was spotted in Dearborn, a southwestern suburb of Detroit, but without camouflage, in an attempt to move from one side of the street to another. But the red light of the traffic light helped inspect and take a photo of the new Fusion.

While many are expecting drastic changes in the future 2017 Ford Fusion, expectations will not match reality, as photographs show that the future car was soon updated, but not restyled in any way.

From the front, it can be seen that the radiator grille resembles an Aston Martin grill, as a result of which the shape of the front bumper and part of the headlights have been changed. The front of the Fusion is more elongated and more open at the bottom.

The side of the Fusion has remained almost unchanged, and the shape of the previous model already shown, which is now available to the buyer at Ford dealerships, is well recognizable. As far as the rear end of the Fusion goes, the bumper and headlights are all over the place. The car interior will be available only at the auto show, so one can only assume that there have also been changes, albeit small ones.

It is hard to say whether the European version of the Mondeo will be similarly modified like the new Fusion or the 2016 model will inherit all the features from the previous years. Regarding the hybrid model, according to experts, there will be no changes, the same hybrid setup will remain. A new transmission will be installed. There will also be a new Fusion ST trim available about which almost nothing is known today.

The Fusion ST is said to be equipped with the same functional units as the 2016 Focus RS, ranging from engine and torque to transmission, electronics and all-wheel drive.
